Job summary

Schomp Automotive Group is seeking an IT Operations Assistant to support the smooth running of IT infrastructure across Schomp Honda locations in Aurora, Highlands Ranch and Littleton, CO. The role emphasizes hands-on hardware setup, inventory management and site logistics rather than help desk duties.

You will install and configure workstations, move equipment between sites, image new devices and maintain orderly IT spaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with computer hardware and cabling.
• Reliable, organized and detail-oriented with ability to follow checklists and procedures accurately.
• Comfortable working independently and coordinating schedules across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Install and connect workstations, monitors, printers and AV equipment at assigned sites, ensuring devices power on and connect to the network.
• Move equipment within and between sites, manage cabling and escalate non-functional devices to IT service desk.
• Unbox and stage new equipment, run imaging per IT guidelines, apply asset tags and track locations.
• Support site logistics during hardware rollouts and office moves, meet vendors on site, verify shipments against purchase orders.

This is a hands-on role covering equipment setup, hardware logistics, site setup and upkeep of IT spaces, all done under the direction of the IT team. This is not a help desk role.
