Summary of Job Duties: Under direct supervision, provides accurate and timely solutions to end user computer and networking problems. Performs restorative and maintenance actions either remotely or at the end user’s location to resolve problems, using basic troubleshooting and technical skills. Responds to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing problem equipment, software installations, or configuration changes. This position participates in a group 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year on-call rotation where each member of the group takes call for 1 week at a time.
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Information Technology or related field of study - OR - High School diploma plus 2 years of experience in IT support functions or IT technical related experience.
  • Required to be on-call and to respond immediately to trouble calls outside of general work hours.
  • Work occasionally may require in excess of eight hours per day.
  • Rotating weekend and holiday coverage.
  • Workload pressure will regularly subject incumbent to moderate to high job-related stress.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field of study.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Certifications: A+, Network+, MCP, CCNA.
