Position Summary
The IT Network Administrator assists in planning, designing, and purchasing enterprise data network and security infrastructure hardware and software. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, and support of network technologies within core and security areas.
What You'll Do:
- Configure, design, and support Cloud deployments; lead Cloud networking discussions.
- Manage LAN, WAN, Internet, Wireless, Load Balancers, Packet Capture, OSPF, BGP.
- Administer networks, systems, and databases; troubleshoot complex issues; perform hardware upgrades and fixes.
- Implement and support applications; collaborate on project scopes and system integration.
- Monitor system performance, recommend improvements, and support incident resolution in a 24/7 environment.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Cloud networking knowledge, experience, and certifications preferred.
- Experience with ISE, ACI, DNA Center; CCNP or higher Cisco certification preferred.
- Enterprise VPN experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, support, and document network hardware/software with minimal supervision.
- Monitor capacity, performance, and licenses; optimize network systems.
- Support and lead moderate complexity projects; participate in incident resolution and escalation processes.
- Ensure system controls, monitor vulnerabilities, and develop disaster recovery plans.
- Maintain knowledge of network technologies, protocols, and tools; follow ITIL standards.

Qualifications
Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's in computer science or related field + 2 years experience, or
- Associate's + 4 years experience, or
- High School + 6 years experience.
Additional experience in network administration preferred, especially in core and security areas, including knowledge of protocols, hardware, and scripting skills. Cisco CCNA certification is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift over 50 lbs with assistance, climb heights, drive, and perform manual tasks as specified.
