Job summary

Princeton University is seeking a Manager of Information Technology to lead technical administration and support for University Services departments. You will guide system health, integrations, security, and vendor coordination to enhance operational efficiency.

Reporting to senior IT leadership, you will drive strategic technology initiatives, manage projects from RFIs/RFPs to deployment, and mentor Operations Leads.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional hands-on experience in information systems and IT operations, including project management, and data analytics.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence constituencies across departments.
• Strong ability to develop customer-friendly solutions using business judgment and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical administrator and second-tier support for assigned departmental IT systems and applications.
• Coordinate with USIT, OIT, and vendors to troubleshoot and escalate issues.
• Lead system upgrades, integrations, and testing with clear project governance.
• Develop automation and low-code workflows to streamline department processes.
• Support data reporting, dashboards, and self-service analytics across cloud and on-premise platforms.
