Armanino Foods of Distinction, Inc. in Pleasanton, CA is seeking an IT Manager to lead technology systems, applications, infrastructure, and IT service delivery during a period of growth.

Reporting to the CFO, you will own performance, security, and integration across the business to support manufacturing operations and corporate functions. The role requires hands-on leadership with external partners to deliver reliable projects, strong project management, and business judgment.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive IT experience including responsibility for business systems, infrastructure, and technology projects.
• Experience leading system implementations and integrations involving multiple platforms and stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, data flows, integration methods, and reporting tools.
• Strong knowledge of networking, cloud services, identity management, endpoint administration, and cybersecurity practices.
• Experience managing external IT providers, software vendors, budgets, and service commitments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an IT roadmap aligned with company growth, operational priorities, and business needs.
• Own the company’s technology portfolio, including business applications, infrastructure, hardware, software, and IT services.
• Partner with department leaders to identify requirements, evaluate solutions, and prioritize technology investments.
• Establish clear system ownership, support processes, documentation, and standards.
• Manage the IT budget, technology purchasing, software licensing, and equipment lifecycle.
• Oversee the administration, maintenance, and improvement of enterprise systems supporting finance, manufacturing, inventory, warehousing, sales, HR, and more.
• Lead system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and integrations from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, software providers, and implementation partners to deliver projects within scope, timing, and budget.
• Ensure integrations support accurate, timely data exchange and include monitoring, error handling, and reconciliation.
• Partner with business owners to establish data governance, access controls, and consistent workflows.
• Maintain a current inventory of systems, integrations, dependencies, and opportunities to simplify the technology environment.
• Maintain reliable networks, internet connectivity, devices, communications tools, and technology services across office, plant, and warehouse locations.
• Oversee MSP’s delivery of daily IT support, establish service expectations, and assist in resolving or escalating issues affecting operations.
• Support technology requirements for facility expansion, equipment installation, and operational transitions.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and equipment vendors on manufacturing technology connectivity, security, and support responsibilities.
• Maintain asset inventories, configuration records, technical documentation, and support procedures.
• Oversee MSP’s cybersecurity practices, including IAM, endpoint protection, patching, and user awareness.
• Establish and maintain onboarding, access changes, and offboarding processes.
• Oversee backups, disaster recovery planning, and IT incident response.
• Assess technology risks and implement practical safeguards to protect systems and information.
• Support IT governance and control practices for the company.
• Assist customer, audit, and business requirements related to technology controls and security.
• Manage relationships with MSPs, consultants, vendors, and other technology partners.
• Define vendor responsibilities, monitor performance, and hold partners accountable for commitments.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and decisions to leadership.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, training, and deployment readiness with owners.
• Build processes that improve system adoption and reduce recurring issues.
