Job summary

AMS Vendors is seeking an IT Manager to lead our technology operations across manufacturing and enterprise systems. You will oversee IT strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and support, partnering with leadership to align tech with business growth.

The role requires 5–10+ years in IT with leadership experience, managing multi-site operations, cloud platforms, ERP/CRM, and data initiatives. You will guide vendors, budgets, and security programs to ensure reliable, secure IT services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5–10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 2–5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, multi-site operations, or industrial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT strategies that align with business goals and long-term growth initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on technology investments, opportunities, and risks.
• Lead, mentor, and manage IT staff, vendors, and external technology partners.
• Oversee daily IT operations, including networks, servers, cloud platforms, telecommunications, and end-user support.
• Ensure system availability, performance, security, and scalability.
• Manage hardware and software procurement, maintenance, upgrades, and lifecycle planning.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls.
• Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, threats, and security incidents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and security standards.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Plan and deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
• Coordinate technology integrations and cross-functional initiatives.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements.
• Oversee business applications, including ERP, CRM, Microsoft 365, and collaboration tools.
• Ensure data integrity, backup, retention, and recovery processes.
• Support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
