Job summary

Travaux Inc. is seeking an IT Manager to oversee the Housing Authority's information technology systems, networks, software, and hardware.

The role ensures IT infrastructure availability, reliability, and security while driving improvements to organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate will lead system administration, cybersecurity, project delivery, and strategic planning, with strong vendor management and compliance focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in network management, cybersecurity, and system administration.
• Strong knowledge of IT best practices, technologies, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• System Management and Support: Maintain servers, networking equipment, desktops, laptops, printers, and related devices; ensure performance and fix issues promptly.
• Network and Data Security: Implement and monitor security protocols, manage incident responses, and oversee disaster recovery plans.
• Project Management: Plan and implement IT projects, coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to meet timelines and budgets.
• Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute short- and long-term IT strategies aligned with organizational goals; advise on emerging technologies.
• Technical Training and Support: Train staff on technology usage and cybersecurity; manage helpdesk operations.
• Vendor Management: Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate service delivery.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain documentation of IT processes and configurations.
