Job Description

The Manager of Application Development oversees a team of software developers and IT professionals supporting Eurofins Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). This role manages staff, work processes, and IT software projects to support our laboratories and clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of IT software developers creating and maintaining in-house software
• Collaborate with laboratory management to identify business needs and solutions
• Gather requirements for improvements and fixes for LIMS systems
• Manage delivery expectations for requested functionalities
• Coordinate with IT Infrastructure and Support teams to ensure system availability
• Design and develop new software for laboratory needs
• Track and report on software task metrics
• Manage help desk support for LIMS systems
• Oversee systems within the LIMS ecosystem
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education:

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Chemistry, or related field

Experience:

• At least 5 years of software development experience in web technologies
• Knowledge of Vue.js, Angular, Java, C# preferred
• Familiarity with Eurofins LabServe or Tracker LIMS preferred
• Understanding of Environmental Laboratory Operations
