Job summary

Black Desert Resort in Southern Utah seeks an IT Manager to oversee the reliability, security, and performance of resort technology across guest-facing and back-of-house systems. You will work closely with the Director of IT to implement infrastructure plans, cybersecurity measures, and system integrations that support a luxury guest experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of progressive information technology experience, preferably in hospitality or a complex 24-hour operation.
• Experience as an onsite technology resource for a hotel, resort, or multi-department operation is preferred.
• Experience with Agilysys Versa PMS or similar enterprise hospitality systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, PCI handling, and incident response is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation, availability, security, reliability, and performance of critical technology systems.
• Support IT leadership in executing strategies, infrastructure plans, cybersecurity initiatives, and projects.
• Provide timely technical support and incident resolution for employees, guests, and departments.
• Coordinate vendor support cases, installations, and system upgrades to completion.
• Maintain and troubleshoot guest-room technology, including Wi-Fi, IPTV, and digital room controls.
• Monitor network infrastructure, internet connectivity, switches, firewalls, and backups.
• Ensure secure user accounts, access controls, and documentation.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to meet technology needs for meetings and events.
