• Primary Purpose of Department: The Office of OneIT provides highly reliable information technology infrastructure, tools, and services to empower the University to achieve its academic, research, administrative, and service goals.
• Primary Purpose of Position: This position provides leadership and strategic direction for the Data Integrations team, overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise-level system integrations and APIs. The position ensures reliable, secure, and scalable data exchange between campus ERP, CRM and third-party systems, while fostering a culture of code standardization and process optimization to support the University's administrative and academic goals.
• Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Advanced degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in integration architecture, software development, or IT management.
  • Proven expertise with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform or equivalent iPaaS solutions, including API-led connectivity and API lifecycle management.
  • Strong background in enterprise ERP and CRM systems (e.g., Ellucian Banner, Salesforce).
  • Proficiency in database architecture (Oracle PL/SQL, SQL), API modeling languages (RAML, OpenAPI, Swagger), and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (Git, Maven, Jenkins, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines).
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, team building, and professional development of technical staff.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage cross-departmental relationships and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
