Job summary

Core One Group in Sterling, VA is seeking an IT Manager to oversee the performance, security, reliability of the company’s IT environment, and to lead cybersecurity initiatives and vendor management.

The role requires the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance and experience with DoD frameworks, Windows environments, Office 365, and strong communication; you will mentor IT staff and drive the strategic IT roadmap.

Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of education and 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading IT operations, cybersecurity, or related initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage IT operations, security, and vendor relationships.
• Escalate material business risks and cybersecurity incidents.
• Identify and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency and growth.
• Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, standards, and documentation.
• Develop and execute IT strategy and technology roadmap.
• Oversee third-party IT service providers and contracts.
• Lead cybersecurity and information assurance with FSO and providers.
• Allocate resources and manage workload for IT services and initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop IT personnel.
