Job summary

Hayes Locums is seeking an IT Manager, Infrastructure & Software Delivery to lead the Infrastructure & Operations and SDLC teams. You’ll oversee cloud operations, on-prem and cloud-native architectures, security, and compliance in a security-focused, growth-oriented environment.

The role combines hands-on technical contributions with leadership, working across Azure, DevOps, and integrations (Salesforce/MuleSoft). Hybrid schedule with a remote day possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years IT infrastructure, systems administration, and/or software development experience.
• 2+ years leading technical teams.
• Familiar with Azure cloud, Windows/Linux, scripting, CI/CD, IaC, React/Node, API integrations, databases, observability, IAM.
• Security-focused, with knowledge of NIST and SOC 2 Type 2.

Responsibilities

• Lead Infrastructure and SDLC teams; mentor and grow staff.
• Oversee multicloud Azure-dominant operations, Windows/Linux, containers, and serverless.
• Direct end-to-end delivery of React-based client portal and integrations.
• Manage Azure DevOps pipelines, release management, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Champion security and compliance across both teams with NIST/SOC 2 Type 2.
• Maintain observability and incident response with monitoring stack.
• Plan and deliver cross-functional initiatives using Agile and Monday.com.
• Review architecture, troubleshoot escalations, set technical standards.
• Manage vendors and optimize tooling spend.
• Develop documentation and SOPs to reduce key-person risk.
