Standex International is seeking a seasoned Manager Information Technology to lead Amran's IT strategy, ERP deployment, and IT controls across US and India facilities. The role emphasizes on-site operations, modernization, and strong governance to support rapid manufacturing expansion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of IT management experience with a proven leadership track record.
  • Prior ownership of a tier-1 ERP implementation (Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4HANA or equivalent) through go-live and stabilization.
  • Demonstrated experience with IT controls and SOX compliance.
  • Direct experience with IT/OT convergence in plant builds, expansions, or greenfield facilities.
  • Strong technical background in networking, cybersecurity, Windows servers, PCs and Office 365.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid understanding of IT best practices, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic IT plans aligned with business goals.
  • Experience handling confidential information/material responsibly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience integrating acquisitions into IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with Standex and Standex Electronics objectives.
  • Translate growth plans into a technology roadmap.
  • Build IT literacy among leadership and serve as IT voice.
  • Assess current applications and plan modernization roadmap including ERP replacement.
  • Lead ERP implementation for the business unit: requirements, design, data migration, integration, cutover, stabilization.
  • Oversee systems integration between US and India entities including intercompany transactions.
  • Manage day-to-day IT operations: network, systems, user support.
  • Ensure security and availability of Electronics applications.
  • Collaborate to safeguard IT infrastructure and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead IT/OT scope for the new manufacturing facility: MES/SCADA, security.
  • Partner with plant leadership on OT platform selection and deployment.
  • Define OT data flows to ERP and analytics for actionable insight.
  • Evaluate new technologies to boost productivity and innovation.
  • Oversee internal and external audits and testing engagements.
  • Enforce Standex IT policies and controls.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to meet IT needs and provide guidance.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.
  • Act as escalation point for service desk if needed.
  • Adhere to safety and security policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Manager Information Technology leads all IT activities for Amran, part of Standex Electronics Grid, a fast-growing manufacturing business. Amran is looking for an IT leader who can help scale IT as the business grows through the deployment of applications, user support and IT controls. The business is expanding its manufacturing footprint and intends to expand its use of operational technology.

This role owns day-to-day IT operations, leads on-site modernization of the application portfolio (including a new ERP), maintains a strong IT control environment, and helps design the IT and OT foundation for the new plant. The ideal candidate needs to be a hands‑on and a trusted advisor to the business leaders, translating business objectives into technology decisions and building IT literacy across the leadership team.

The position is based in Sugar Land, TX yet may require travel to other Standex sites to support.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and implement Amran IT strategies and initiatives aligned with Standex and Standex Electronics overall objectives and business needs.
  • Translate business objectives, growth plans into a coherent technology roadmap.
  • Build IT literacy across a leadership team and be the IT voice at the table.
  • Work with Standex IT teams to assess the current application landscape and create a prioritized IT modernization roadmap that replace legacy applications with ones to help grow the business.
  • Serve as the business unit lead for the enterprise ERP implementation: requirements definition, process design, data migration, integration architecture, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Own the systems integration architecture between the U.S. business and the affiliated India entity, including intercompany transactions, master data alignment, and supply chain visibility.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations for IT, including network administration, system maintenance, and user support.
  • Manage security and availability of business applications specific to Electronics.
  • In collaboration with the Enterprise team, ensure the security and integrity of the company's IT infrastructure, including data protection, cybersecurity measures, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Lead the IT and OT scope for the new manufacturing facility: network design and segmentation, wireless coverage, shop‑floor connectivity, MES/SCADA integration, and IT/OT security.
  • Partner with plant leadership, engineering, and equipment vendors on OT platform selection, standards, and deployment.
  • Design how OT data flows into enterprise systems (ERP, analytics) so the plant delivers not only production capacity but usable operational data.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and systems to enhance productivity, efficiency, and innovation within the organization.
  • Responsible for the Amran internal audit, external audit (Deloitte), and management testing engagements.
  • Implement Standex corporate IT policies and standards, including Enterprise IT controls.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand their IT needs and requirements and provide strategic guidance and support.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to optimize costs and ensure the timely delivery of IT services and solutions.
  • Assist as an escalation point for service desk tickets or ticket overflow, if necessary
  • Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.

What You’ll Bring

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of IT best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic IT plans that align with business goals and drive innovation and growth.
  • Experience and temperament to handle highly confidential information/material.
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and organizational skills.
