The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex enterprise IT initiatives across Delta Americas.
This position is responsible for successfully managing multiple concurrent projects while partnering with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and global stakeholders to deliver strategic technology initiatives on time and within budget.
This is not a hands-on engineering role. Instead, you'll coordinate cross-functional technical teams, remove obstacles, manage risk, and ensure successful project delivery while allowing technical subject matter experts to drive the engineering decisions.
Projects include:
- Enterprise application deployments
- Office Automation initiatives
- IT infrastructure implementations
- M&A infrastructure and application integrations
- Business enhancement requests
- Enterprise digital transformation initiatives
Projects range from:
- Small enhancement efforts completed in less than one week
- Large enterprise programs lasting 12+ months
You’ll often manage several projects simultaneously across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple concurrent enterprise IT projects from initiation through implementation
- Coordinate cross-functional technical teams located across multiple regions and time zones
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource planning
- Perform project impact analysis and proactively manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost
- Identify, own, and resolve project risks, issues, action items, and dependencies
- Ensure projects comply with established PMO methodologies, governance, standards, and best practices
- Partner with business leaders to drive Organizational Change Management (OCM), including:
- Executive stakeholder communications
- End-user communications
- Training coordination
- Adoption planning
- Support enterprise M&A integration initiatives involving infrastructure and business applications
- Provide project status updates and executive-level reporting
- Build strong partnerships across IT, business teams, vendors, and global leadership
- Drive continuous improvement while leveraging an already mature PMO environment

What We’re Looking For
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field
- 9–12+ years of IT Project Management experience
- Proven success leading multiple large-scale cross-functional IT projects
- Experience coordinating technical teams rather than performing hands-on engineering work
- Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies, governance, and best practices
- Experience managing projects involving:
- IT Infrastructure
- Enterprise Applications
- Digital Transformation
- M&A Integration
- Experience working within an established PMO environment
- Strong Organizational Change Management (OCM) experience, including executive communication, end-user adoption, and training
- Excellent project planning, risk management, and stakeholder management skills
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with executives and business leaders
- Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed global organization
- Mandarin/Chinese language skills (Required)
Preferred
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent Project Management certification
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Experience managing enterprise application rollouts
- Experience with SAP projects (nice-to-have, not required)
- Experience supporting global organizations

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS
Compensation: 125-145K base + 10% Performance Bonus
Travel: Occasional domestic and international travel
