Job summary

Landing Point in New York City seeks a highly technical IT Manager to own end-to-end Azure infrastructure, security, and end-user support. You will lead architecture, governance, and cost optimization while coordinating with vendors and the in-house development team to ensure secure deployments.

The role focuses on protecting identities, networks, endpoints, and data, and requires 10+ years in infrastructure, cloud, or security.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure, cloud, network, and/or security engineering.
• Deep, hands-on Microsoft Azure experience across networking, compute, storage, identity, and governance.
• Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, routing, DNS, VPN, proxies, TLS, and network segmentation design.
• Experience designing and managing firewalls and traffic control.
• Experience securing identity and privileged access with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with security monitoring and incident response using a SIEM/XDR platform.
• Proven results in cloud cost optimization.
• Experience managing Azure Virtual Desktop or comparable virtual desktop platforms.
• Scripting and automation skills (e.g., PowerShell), and working knowledge of infrastructure as code.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 administration and a helpdesk or end-user support function.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure, networking, or security certifications such as CISSP) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Own the firm's Azure environment end-to-end: architecture, build, operation, and governance.

• Ensure the environment is properly monitored, documented, backed up, and recoverable.
• Own the firm's security posture and roadmap across identity, network, endpoint, and data.
• Lead security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Own the firm's cloud and IT spend, including budgeting, forecasting, and regular reporting.
• Manage the helpdesk and end-user support function, setting service standards and serving as the escalation point.
• Manage vendors and consultants, including scoping and selecting them, and negotiating contracts.
• Partner with the firm's in-house development team on hosting, environments, and secure deployment practices.

Compensation:

Salary: $200,000 - $250,000, Plus Bonus
