Job Description:

Apex Systems, a world-class technology solutions provider, is seeking qualified applicants for the following position. Only qualified candidates will be contacted.

Position Type: DIRECT HIRE - FULL TIME (benefits offered through end client)

Location: 3 days onsite Mooresville, NC; 1 day onsite Charlotte, NC; 1 day remote

Relocation package offered for non-local candidates

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 plus a 15%-30% bonus paid twice annually, based on company performance

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 6+ years of internal/external IT audit experience
• Experience leading audit engagements with 1+ junior staff
• Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (NIST, SOC 1/SOC 2)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
• Master’s degree in business, accounting, IT, or related field
• CISA, CISSP, CPA, CIA certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Cybersecurity audit experience
• Retail business experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, or other data analytics tools

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform complex technology audits to evaluate internal controls and manage risks, including information security risks.
• Guide daily audit operations and supervise/train Senior and Staff Auditors to ensure timely, high-quality work.
• Utilize agile auditing methodology to focus on urgent business stakeholder needs.
• Participate in rotational committee work, such as quality reviews, issue follow-up, and training coordination.
