Job summary

Crux Climate Inc. is hiring an IT Lead to own vendor procurement, contracts, provisioning, and IT strategy across software and hardware. You will own the employee technology experience and security policy execution, enabling Crux to scale securely and efficiently.

The role requires hands-on management of modern startup IT stacks, SOC2 readiness, and cost optimization. We operate a remote-first model across the US and Canada with an emphasis on automation and AI-driven IT work.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of IT experience in a high-growth startup.
• Hands-on depth with modern startup IT stack and security practices.
• Experience contributing to SOC2 audit cycles and vendor cost control.

Responsibilities

• Own employee SSO provisioning for onboarding/offboarding.
• Drive faster SOC2 audit request turnaround and evidence collection.
• Audit systems for usage patterns and identify cost-cutting opportunities.
• Manage vendor renegotiation cadence and cost/value optimization.
• Oversee device management and endpoint tooling across platforms.
