Maximus is seeking a Senior Solutions Lead to bridge business strategy and technology, designing solutions that deliver meaningful outcomes. You will lead complex initiatives and influence enterprise decisions, helping transform how services are delivered in a fully remote role.

Collaborate with Business Development and Digital Solutions to align capabilities with strategy, sponsor innovative tech, and guide governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Business architecture or solution architecture work linking capabilities, value streams, processes, operating models, user journeys and technology.
• Enterprise-level solution leadership with ability to lead flagship pursuits and address complex challenges.
• Strong understanding of U.S. government service delivery models (e.g., Eligibility & Enrollment, Contact Centers, Workforce Services, Medicaid).
• Ability to make and communicate major solution decisions under aggressive timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cross‑line‑of‑business solutions by blending business capabilities, value streams and processes; advise on options, risks and cost-benefit impacts.
• Collaborate with Business Development to assess threats and opportunities from digital enterprises outside traditional competition.
• Support the organization’s digital strategy and monetization through close work with Digital Solutions.
• Use business‑architecture deliverables to help leaders identify and invest in technology aligned to strategy.
• Work with executives to clarify operating models and identify how new tech can enhance blocks of the business model.
• Identify capability gaps and set development priorities to strengthen solution maturity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the development of cross‑line‑of‑business solutions by combining knowledge of business capabilities, value streams, and business processes. Consult with technical subject matter experts to develop technical solutions and advise on options, risks, cost‑benefit considerations, and impacts on other business processes and system priorities.
• Work with the Business Development organization to assess competitive threats and opportunities from digital enterprises that fall outside the traditional realm of competition.
• Support the organization’s digital strategy and approach to digital innovation and monetization through close collaboration with the Digital Solutions organization.
• Utilize a toolbox of business architecture deliverables to help business leaders identify and make informed technology investment decisions. Deliverables include, but are not limited to: business‑outcome statements, strategy‑on‑a‑page, scenario planning, business capability modeling, value‑stream mapping, business process models, ecosystem modeling, customer and user profiling, journey maps, human‑centric design, and investment roadmaps.
• Work with business and technology executives to articulate and clarify business and operating models. Use the organization’s existing business and operating model as a starting point for innovation, such as using new technologies to enhance a specific building block.
• Seek opportunities to drive adoption of new technology and to reuse existing technology to enable business capabilities, value streams, and business processes.

Minimum Requirements

'- Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Program Specific Requirements:

• Business architecture or solution architecture work connecting business capabilities, value streams, processes, operating models, user journeys, and technology solutions.
• Ability to work with technical SMEs and business leaders to evaluate options, risks, cost-benefit considerations, integration impacts, enterprise reuse opportunities, and solution governance.
• Enterprise level solution leadership experience with the ability to lead flagship pursuits and address highly complex operational, technical, business, financial, compliance and delivery challenges.
• Strong understanding of U.S. government services delivery models, including Eligibility & Enrollment, Contact Centers, Workforce Services, Medicaid Enterprise Systems and related operational environments.
• Demonstrated ability to make and communicate major solution decisions, resolve competing tradeoffs and provide decision ready recommendations under aggressive timelines.
• Ability to identify organizational capability gaps and define development priorities that strengthen solutioning maturity and readiness for future enterprise-scale pursuits
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the executive presence required to represent solutioning leadership in executive reviews and strategic forums.
• CRM, case management, contact center/CCaaS, cloud platforms, data and analytics, workflow automation, digital services, human-centered design, API/integration patterns, identity/access considerations, and vendor-neutral technology recommendations experience highly preferred.

This position is fully remote and will require a home office.
