Job summary

Johnsonville's IT team in Wisconsin invites a summer intern or co-op to contribute to real projects, work with cross-functional teams, and gain hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and Azure Analytics. You'll rotate through focus areas such as Application Development & Integration, Data Science, Data Governance, BI Developer, and Platform Solutions, with mentorship and networking events.

Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Data Science/Engineering or Business, with a 3.5

• Candidate must currently be working towards a Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Data Science, Data & Analytics, Engineering or Business; junior or senior preferred
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 strongly preferred

The successful candidate will take part in a program designed to provide an overview of the IT function through a combination of project work in multiple functional areas, along with the ability to job shadow in other areas of interest.

You will also participate with Interns from across the company in organized activities which provide networking and learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

As a Member of Johnsonville’s IT Team, the successful candidate will gain exposure to cutting edge technologies such as In‑Memory Computing, SAP S/4HANA and Azure for Analytics. They will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience through involvement in one of the following focus areas:

• Application Development & Integration Intern
• Data Science Intern
• Data Governance Intern
• BI Developer Intern
• Platform Solutions Intern

Education

• Candidate must currently be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Data & Analytics, Engineering or Business; junior or senior status preferred
• 3.5 minimum GPA strongly preferred

Experience

• Excellent computer skills including Excel proficiency, SAP knowledge is a benefit
• Prior work experience preferred

Skills

• Desire to learn, grow and contribute in a team‑based environment
• Quick learner, ability to work independently
• Must possess a drive for excellence
