Job summary

Johnsonville IT will place you in a summer internship or co‑op to gain hands-on experience on real projects, collaborate with teammates across functional areas, and learn in a growth‑minded culture. The program blends project work in IT with shadowing in other areas and organized activities to network and learn from peers.

Eligibility includes pursuing a Bachelor's in IT, CS, Data Science, or related fields; junior/senior status preferred; GPA 3.5+ preferred; start date May 24, 2027; must be 18+

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Data & Analytics, Engineering or Business; junior or senior status preferred.
• GPA 3.5 minimum strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience through IT project work across multiple functional areas.
• Job shadow other areas of interest to broaden exposure.
• Participate in organized activities for networking and learning with other interns.
• Gain exposure to modern IT tools and platforms (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Azure for Analytics).

Position Overview

Join the Johnsonville IT Team for a summer you’ll never forget! We know that your internship experience will provide you with valuable knowledge and experience.

The successful candidate will take part in a program designed to provide an overview of the IT function through a combination of project work in multiple functional areas, along with the ability to job shadow in other areas of interest.

You will also participate with Interns from across the company in organized activities which provide networking and learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

As a Member of Johnsonville’s IT Team, the successful candidate will gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies such as In-Memory Computing, SAP S/4HANA and Azure for Analytics. They will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience through involvement in one of the following focus areas:

• Application Development & Integration Intern
• Data Science Intern
• Data Governance Intern
• Platform Solutions Intern

Education

• Candidate must currently be working towards a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Data & Analytics, Engineering or Business; junior or senior status preferred
• 3.5 minimum GPA strongly preferred

Experience

• Excellent computer skills including Excel proficiency, SAP knowledge is a benefit
• Prior work experience preferred

Skills

• Desire to learn, grow and contribute in a team-based environment
• Quick learner, ability to work independently
• Must possess a drive for excellence
