Job summary

Texas Dow Employees Credit Union seeks a Director – Internal Audit Information Technology to plan, execute, and oversee IT audit activities. The role partners with executives to assure IT controls, mitigate risks, and improve control environments, while coordinating with external auditors.

The position requires a strong IT audit background, CISA certification, and extensive supervisory experience. This role supports a dynamic hybrid work arrangement with on-site presence in Sugar Land, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, accounting or business from an accredited university.
• Master’s degree in accounting, business or related field preferred.
• CISA certification required; CISSP/CISM/CIA/CPA preferred.
• Ten years IT internal audit experience in a financial institution or related org; senior level management.
• Seven to ten years of supervisory experience; strong COBIT and NIST CSF knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee an IT audit plan using risk-based methodology.
• Oversee IT audits conducted by external consulting firms.
• Present audit results and corrective action updates to Audit Committee.
• Lead IT vendor management and third-party audit engagements.
• Mentor IA team and drive department capability and succession.
