San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance is seeking an IT Intern to support and upgrade automated systems, assist users, and maintain current hardware and software across the department.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting desktop and network issues, installing OS and application software, supporting remote users, developing OS images, and helping with electronic waste disposal. Applicants must be pursuing an undergraduate degree and be 18 or older; a cover letter is required with the application.

Competenze

• Pursuing undergraduate degree; bachelor’s degree already completed makes you ineligible for this internship.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Cover letter required and must be included with the application.

Mansioni

• Troubleshooting/problem diagnosis of desktop/laptop software, including operating systems, application software and peripherals.
• Configuration and installation of desktop/laptop OS and application software (e.g. MS Office, Gateway Ticketing, Timeline) and peripherals.
• Support and maintain remote end-user environments and patch testing.
• Provide local and remote end user support.
• Basic troubleshooting of network equipment and cabling.
