Job summary

Plastic Ingenuity in Cross Plains, WI is seeking an IT Intern (Service or BA) to support day-to-day technology needs that keep our Cross Plains teams productive. This internship is designed to build real, transferable skills across end-user support, basic infrastructure, and business application assistance.

You’ll own help desk tickets from open to close, assist with hardware setup, imaging, workstation moves, Windows OS, and security policies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 2- or 4-year IT-related degree.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and ticketing operations.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and professional customer service.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

A Typical Day

You’ll start on-site at 1017 Park Street and get a quick read on what’s in motion for the day—new users coming online, devices being staged, and priorities from the queue. Between focused blocks of hands‑on work and short check‑ins with teammates, you’ll document what you see, ask questions, and connect the dots between how people work and how systems support them. Expect a mix of desk time and walking the floor to coordinate with end users, then wrapping up by updating notes so the next shift (and your future self) can pick up cleanly.

$23/hour pay rate, plus access to a 401(k).
