Cintas Corporation is seeking an IT Intern for the IT Security – Governance, Risk and Compliance team in Mason, OH. You will analyze compliance of IT security controls, learn industry standards, and support ongoing governance activities in a Fortune 500 environment.

The role offers hands-on experience, collaboration with IT resources, and exposure to security reviews and risk management. Applicants should be enrolled in an IT degree program and possess strong communication skills.

Formación

• Currently enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's or master's degree program in computer science, information systems, or other IT-related field.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
• Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in engineering, information systems, and related technical support.
• Basic understanding of IT security practices or application development process.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with a strong work ethic.

Job Description

Cintas is currently looking for an IT Intern for the IT Security – Governance, Risk and Compliance team. As an Intern in IT Security you will have the opportunity to work with the team to understand Cintas security controls and Governance, Risk and Compliance activities. You will be part of building and maturing these practices in a Fortune 500 company.

Role:

• Analyze compliance of IT security controls, policies, standards and procedures
• Assess deployed tools and processes for posture improvement
• Learn, understand and apply industry standards and best practices
• Assist in organizational maturity assessments and initiatives
• Work collaboratively with internal and external IT resources to reduce cyber vulnerabilities
