GOTAFE is offering an internship in Canton, Ohio, where you will collaborate with an Agile Scrum team to design, develop, test, and implement BI reports, ETL processes, cubes, and web-based solutions. You will diagnose issues, communicate with diverse audiences, and actively pursue learning opportunities throughout the internship.

The role targets students pursuing a bachelor’s degree with CS coursework or self-taught experience, with emphasis on Microsoft Word/Excel and basic database concepts,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with CS coursework or relevant self-taught experience.
• Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Some relational database experience, including ability to write queries and understanding of tables, views, stored procedures, and keys; MS SQL Server preferred.
• Nice to have experience in OO programming, scripting, source control, CI, testing, and reporting tools.

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

• Partner with a motivated Agile Scrum team to design, develop, test, and implement solutions including Business Intelligence reports, ETL, cubes, web applications, web services, and scripting.
• Diagnose and resolve problems as they arise.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences across the company.
• Engage in continuous learning throughout the internship.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Students working towards a bachelor's degree with some Computer Science coursework or relevant self-taught experience.
• Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Some relational database experience, including ability to write queries and understanding of tables, views, stored procedures, and keys; experience with MS SQL Server is preferred.
• Nice to have experience in Object Oriented Programming, scripting, source control, continuous integration, testing, and reporting tools.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly salary range of $21 to $23.
