Job summary

Royal Electric is seeking an IT intern for our Sacramento office starting Fall 2026. You will assist the IT team with onboarding/offboarding, laptop lifecycle management, workstation setup, and basic troubleshooting, gaining hands-on experience in a corporate environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing computer science or related fields, enjoy tackling tasks from concept to completion, and can work independently while communicating effectively with teammates.

Qualifications

• Pursuing IT-related studies with strong interest in computers.
• Experience or coursework with IT support is a plus.
• Familiarity with Office 365 tools is preferred.

Education & Experience

• Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Telecommunications, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering or relatedmajor.
• Interest in computers
• Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook)

• Review help desk tickets

Safety & Physical Requirements

• Must wear proper PPE while on jobsites.
• Must comply with all safety standards and procedures.
• Sit, stand, and walk during the duration of the workday.
• Will lift, carry, push, pull, kneel, crouch, and reach.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Salary Range:

• $22-$27
