Job summary

Wagner Equipment Co. invites an IT Intern to gain hands-on experience in application development and business process automation across multiple departments. The role offers exposure to IT systems operations and enterprise-scale applications with mentorship from seasoned IT professionals.

The internship lasts about 20 weeks and ends in 2026, reporting to the IT Development Manager. Compensation is $20.00 per hour, with strong learning opportunities across Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Power

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Information Systems.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Assist with development, enhancement, and support of business applications and internal software solutions.
Support creation and maintenance of automation workflows to improve business processes.
Participate in software testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
Assist in developing integrations between business systems, databases, and applications.
Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.
Support reporting, dashboard, and data management initiatives.
Participate in deployment, configuration, and maintenance activities.
Identify opportunities to improve processes through technology solutions.
Work on development projects under guidance of IT professionals.
