Job summary

Sentinel Technologies, Inc. offers a summer internship in Downers Grove, IL for students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT.

You will join a Microsoft-focused project team, shadow senior engineers, and build hands-on skills with Azure cloud, M365, and PowerShell, turning classroom knowledge into practical execution. Interns are evaluated by internal hiring managers for a potential full-time offer after completion.

Qualifications

• Junior or higher pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft systems, cloud, and/or data center is helpful but not required.
• Certifications AZ-900, MS-900, AI-900 and/or SC-900 are nice to have.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with internal teams and clients.

Job description

Responsibilities

Sentinel is seeking internship candidates looking to gain hands on experience working with our Microsoft focused project team. You will spend your summer working with Sentinel's top engineers shadowing and training to build your skills and technical competencies with all things Microsoft. You will have the opportunity to learn some of the most innovative technologies involving Microsoft and their Azure cloud product, M365 and PowerShell. This internship program is designed to take your knowledge from classroom knowledge and skills into hands on practical implementation. At the end of the internship you will be reviewed by our internal hiring managers for an opportunity to receive a job offer for future employment. This position is located in Downers Grove, IL.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a junior in college or higher working towards a Bachelor’s degree
• Major in a Computer Science/IT degree or related field
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft systems, cloud, and/or data center is helpful but not required.
• Holding any of the following certifications would be nice to have AZ-900, MS-900, AI-900 and/or SC-900
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with our internal teams and our clients.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
• A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude

Compensation Range:

$23.00 an hour
