Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS or related field.
Basic understanding of networking, OS, and hardware.
Familiarity with troubleshooting tools, ticketing systems, or diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Maintain VMware virtualization environment and related infrastructure.
Communicate infrastructure performance and requirements with stakeholders.
Troubleshoot server, storage, networking, and OS issues to maintain uptime.
Assist with system hardening, patching, and security improvements.
Develop documentation and participate in knowledge sharing.
Contribute to infrastructure upgrades and migrations under guidance.
Support Moodle, PostgreSQL, video streaming, and ArkansasIDEAS services for reliability.
Develop Ansible automation for deployments and configurations.
Create standard operating procedures and disaster recovery documentation.
