Job summary

National Bank of Kuwait is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator to support and extend the bank's network, server, and storage environments. You will diagnose issues, implement configurations, and ensure service continuity across active directory, virtualization, and cloud platforms.

The role blends daily operational support with project work, including cloud migration and security remediation. Strong MS Exchange/AD knowledge and 6+ years in IT infrastructure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology related disciplines or certification from an accredited IT institution
• 6 years relevant experience in an information technology infrastructure role
• MSCE is preferred
• Knowledge of MS Exchange, Active Directory, Cloud, and network infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Technical analysis, implementation, configuration, and upgrading of network infrastructure environments including Active Directory, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, etc.
• Technical analysis, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of virtualized server infrastructure based on VMware.
• Technical analysis, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Servers and Storage infrastructure components.
• Implementation and maintenance of Microsoft Server technology and infrastructure platforms including Windows operating systems and Remote Desktop Services.
• Maintain network security infrastructure servers such as VPN gateways, firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
• Assist end users in the Microsoft o365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, Visio & Project)
• Business Continuity planning, execution, and documentation.
• Design, implement and support the cloud migration project.
• Lead the installation of the IT related applications and infrastructure in the data center and workstations.
• Lead the enhancement of the branch’s IT data center.
• Participate in remediating the IT security related vulnerabilities.
• Participate in ensuring that the Primary and Disaster Recovery sites are always up and running and ensuring that the DR site is equivalent to the primary site.
• Lead the initiative of enhancing the IT related account maintenance and regular support activities.
• Stay current on all applications used in office. Train and respond to staff inquiries when needed.
