Farmers & Merchants Bank in Arkansas seeks an IT Infrastructure Engineer to maintain reliable, secure, and available banking systems. You will design, implement, and support core infrastructure services for daily operations.

The role requires 5–8 years of related experience, strong knowledge of TCP/IP, cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure), and hands-on experience with IaaS, networking, and scripting. Work hours are 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting and routing.
• Hands-on experience building, provisioning, and maintaining IaaS on cloud platforms.
• Familiar with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and related services.
• College degree or 4 years equivalent in progressive industry experience.
• Experience with Cisco network gear and security concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install and support infrastructure OS, software, and firmware across end-user, server, hypervisor and cloud platforms.
• Manage devices, imaging, patching, lifecycle; administer network, server, and desktop environments.
• Administer virtual, SAN and cloud environments; ensure operational continuity.
• Provide daily configuration, operations, and maintenance of enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain system documentation including SOPs.

Core Responsibilities

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will help keep our banking systems reliable, secure, and available for employees and customers. This role exists to design, maintain, and improve core infrastructure services while supporting operational continuity.

• Installation and support for infrastructure supported OS, software, and firmware on end user, server, hypervisor, and cloud platforms.
• Device management (imaging, patch management, lifecycle).Administration and support for network, server, and desktop environments.
• Administer Virtual, SAN and Cloud environments.
• Provide day-to-day configuration, operations, and maintenance of enterprise systems.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures used to manage product baselines.

Required Qualifications/skills

• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, Subnetting, Routing, SAN/NAS storage, and hybrid networking topologies (Cloud Interconnect/VPNs).
• Familiar with device configuration and troubleshooting, including using command lines, powershell, bash, packet captures, and similar tools for troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience building, provisioning, and maintaining IaaS environments on Google.
• Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM), AWS, or Azure.
• Familiar with DNS and DHCP configuration and troubleshooting.
• Basic familiarity with at least one interpreted programming language (such as PERL, VBS, PHP).
• Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• College degree or minimum of 4 years equivalence in progressively responsible industry experience.
• Cisco router, switches, server administration, cloud administration or firewall courses or equivalent training or experience.
• Preferred licenses, certifications or registrations: VMWare-DCV, Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Architect.

A Typical Workday

Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with occasional off hours and responsiveness required.
