Job summary

FDH Aero seeks a Manager, IT Engineering to lead hybrid IT infrastructure and a three-person systems engineering team across on‑premises and Azure environments. The role focuses on Windows Server, Hyper‑V, VMware, AD/Entra ID, Meraki networking, and cloud services, while maintaining NIST/CMMC compliance.

You will drive security, SIEM operations, ITSM, budgets, vendor contracts, and cross‑site reliability, with a strong emphasis on automation and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of IT infrastructure experience with hands-on management or leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, M365, Intune, Defender and security/compliance.
• Experience with NIST/CMMC frameworks and enterprise networking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage hybrid IT infrastructure across on-premises and Azure cloud environments (60/40 split).
• Lead and mentor a three-person systems engineering team focused on networking, cloud, and general infrastructure.
• Oversee security posture, SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel) and ITSM tooling (Freshservice).
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs for infrastructure and cloud providers.
• Drive automation, change management, and incident response aligned with compliance requirements.
• Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and capacity planning across locations.
