Orange Water And Sewer Authority (NC) seeks an IT Infrastructure Administrator to maintain and optimize the organization’s IT backbone. You will manage servers, networks, storage, and virtualization, ensuring performance and security across environments.

Responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting, backup and disaster recovery, capacity planning, and cross‑functional collaboration with IT support, development, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field and equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in IT infrastructure administration or equivalent.
• Proficiency configuring and managing Windows and Linux servers, networking gear, and virtualization technologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, virtualization).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure availability of critical systems.
• Collaborate with security team to implement robust security measures and access controls.
