Job summary

IMA Financial Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Help Desk Specialist to diagnose and resolve end-user desktop, operating system, and application problems. You will deploy hardware, manage accounts, and support Office 365.

The role requires 2–3 years in service desk environments, an associate degree, strong communication, and a customer-service focus; some travel is required.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of equivalent work experience in computer technology-related fields.
  • Excellent oral, presentation, analytical and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Tests, diagnoses, and resolves end user desktop/hardware, operating system, and application problems, including interdependencies and conflicts.
  • Sets-up and maintains user accounts, maintains computer and hardware inventory, and provides meeting room A/V support.
  • Acts as the single point of contact for end customer issue resolution throughout the incident lifecycle; escalates to IT SMEs and tracks resolution to SLAs.
  • Configures and deploys end user hardware, including laptops, desktops, telephones, and mobile devices.
  • Supports the use and functionality of Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Manages end user support requests in the Help Desk ticketing system.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values

  • Sets-up and maintains user accounts, maintains computer and hardware inventory, and provides meeting room A/V support

  • Acts as the single point of contact for end customer issue resolution throughout the lifecycle of an incident. Escalates an incident to IT subject matter experts and tracks resolution to required service level

  • Supports the use and functionality of Microsoft Office 365 applications

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

include but are not limited to:



  • Preferred: Associate degree

  • Required: 2-3 years’ equivalent work experience in computer technology-related fields

  • Preferred: CompTIA A+ Certification or demonstrated equivalent work experience or certification

  • Preferred: 2-3 years’ current Microsoft desktop operating system, mail client and applications experience

  • Required: 1-2 years’ experience working in service desk roles

  • Required: 1-2 years user account creation and administration experience

  • Required: excellent oral, presentation, analytical and written communication skills

  • Required: exceptional focus on customer service

  • Some travel required

Salary Range

$40,700 — $55,000 USD
