ROCS Grad Staffing is seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist to provide first-line technical support across our technology environment. You will resolve issues, manage user accounts, support critical applications, and assist with IT infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 1-2 years of IT help desk or end-user support experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Windows operating systems.
• Experience using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, or similar platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Assistance Portal Support (30%): Resolve soldier and staff portal access issues; coordinate with third-party vendors; document common issues and resolutions; assist staff, military personnel, and family members.
• General Help Desk Support (30%): Provide Tier 1/2 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals; install and troubleshoot software/hardware; support users remotely and onsite via ticketing system.
• Identity & Access Management (15%): Provision/deprovision user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365; manage MFA enrollment; support onboarding/offboarding; assist with permissions management.
• IT Asset Management (10%): Maintain hardware/software inventory; process check-in/out; coordinate device lifecycle; ensure accurate asset documentation.
• Project & Security Support (10%): Assist IT Director with infrastructure/projects; support vulnerability scanning and remediation; track patching and security updates; maintain security docs.
• Reporting & Documentation (5%): Document support activities; generate metrics; create knowledge base; develop user guides and procedures.
