Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory is seeking graduate students to support the Laboratory's IT environment within the Chief Information Office. You will join a team providing direct support for unclassified and classified mission needs, plus technical services for configuration management across LANL computing environments.

Mentorship will be provided and you will be assigned to a team based on your skills and interests.

Qualifications

• Graduate student; currently enrolled in a graduate program
• GPA at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Time management, detail-oriented, organized
• Experience collaborating in teams on multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Support LANL IT environment within CIO; assist with unclassified and classified mission needs
• Provide mentorship and be assigned to a team based on skills and interests
• Engage in cybersecurity, systems administration, and IT service tasks as needed
