IT Global Supply Management (GSM) partners with Medtronic's Global Operations & Supply Chain organization to enable and improve the technology, data, and digital capabilities supporting procurement and supply management. The portfolio includes enterprise platforms, applications, data and integration capabilities, and emerging technology solutions that support procurement and supply management processes.

  • Rapidly design, prototype, and deliver solutions using APIs, integrations, automation, data platforms, AI capabilities, and modern application development approaches.
  • Develop proofs of concept and minimum viable solutions that allow teams to quickly test business value, technical feasibility, user experience, and scalability before broader implementation.
  • Integrate solutions across enterprise platforms and data sources while supporting reliable, secure, and maintainable architecture patterns.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and vendor capabilities and determine how they can be practically applied to Global Supply Management business problems.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical and process challenges across applications, integrations, data flows, and business workflows, working across organizational boundaries to drive resolution.
  • Transition successful prototypes and solutions into sustainable enterprise capabilities by collaborating with architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, application support, and product teams.
  • Create reusable technical patterns, documentation, and solution approaches that accelerate future delivery across the Global Supply Management portfolio.
Required Qualifications:

  • Hands‑on technical experience with modern programming or scripting languages and experience working with cloud-based or enterprise technology platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous business problems into technical requirements, prototypes, and scalable solutions.
  • Experience working collaboratively across business, engineering, architecture, data, cybersecurity, and technology teams.
  • Experience supporting procurement, sourcing, supplier management, supply chain, or Source-to-Pay business processes and technologies.
  • Experience with technologies such as SAP S/4, SAP Ariba, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, APIs/integration platforms, AI/GenAI, or intelligent automation.
  • Experience rapidly developing proofs of concept, prototypes, or minimum viable products and transitioning successful concepts into production solutions.
  • Understanding of enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data governance, DevSecOps/CI-CD, and software lifecycle practices.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders, understand complex operational problems, and communicate technical concepts in practical business terms.
