Job summary

The Standard is offering an IT Finance Internship designed to apply classroom knowledge to real-world corporate finance planning and analysis. You will support monthly close, forecasting, and financial reporting while gaining exposure to IT budget management and leadership discussions.

This remote internship emphasizes collaboration across teams, hands-on analytics, and the opportunity to build power BI and data reporting capabilities in a growth-focused financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Full-time student for the duration of the internship.
• Preferred majors in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills demonstrated by coursework or prior work.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close activities, including accrual prep and reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly forecasting and Apptio submissions.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reporting packages.
• Conduct ad hoc IT financial analysis to support decisions.
• Review IT contracts for financial impact and budgeting.
• Contribute to process documentation and cross-team initiatives.
• Intern will be assigned to one manager with potential exposure to multiple teams.
• Work will be conducted in a fully remote environment.
