Job summary

3M is seeking an IT Finance Business Analyst III to join our team in Maplewood, MN or Austin, TX. You will bridge IT and finance, leading budgeting, forecasting, and cost analyses to support IT investment decisions and strategic planning.

The role requires strong FP&A skills, knowledge of IT cost structures, and the ability to collaborate with IT leadership and Corporate Finance. On-site work four days a week is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting in varied environments.
• Proficiency in financial management tools (Excel, SAP, Oracle Financials).
• Experience in IT finance or technology environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Monitor IT operating and capital expenditures and perform variance analysis.
• Support cost allocation models for IT services.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for IT leadership and Corporate Finance.
• Assist with vendor invoice processing, contract analysis, and procurement compliance.
• Support business case development and financial modeling for IT investments.
