Job summary

Summit Line Construction is seeking an IT Specialist to join the IT Department in Pahrump, NV, with potential relocation to Las Vegas during projects. The role focuses on end-user support, system administration, and maintaining network and security across sites.

The ideal candidate will balance speed and quality, handle stress well, and communicate effectively with all levels of management. Prior hands-on experience with CAT6 cabling is a plus, with opportunities to expand in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Must have IT or CS degree or equivalent
• Experience in helpdesk or call center preferred
• Hands-on IT troubleshooting across Windows, Linux, networks, and devices

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for computer, software, network, printing, and mobile device issues
• Support business applications and coordinate with vendors for complex issues
• Deliver end-user training on technology and department projects
• Maintain IT department operations and enforce policies/procedures
• Administer servers, desktops, printers, phones, and tablets
• Travel to offices/field locations to set up and maintain networks
• Contribute to major IT projects including updates, upgrades, migrations, outages
• Maintain inventory of hardware, software, and resources
• Create and configure workstations and user accounts
• Monitor and enforce technology security
