Provide second level of field engineering support to operational and technical support teams for Company’s Information Systems and System Users. Monitor, maintain and support all networked computers, associated operating systems and service applications (gaming and nongaming.) Responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of all in-house computer and server hardware, software, voice, data, video, wired and wireless network services, including Local Area Network (LAN) services, connectivity; to include low voltage services, and works closely with Senior Field Engineers to provide exceptional customer service.
- Develop team leadership and provide technical oversight, on-the-job trainingand mentorship of first level Field Engineers with emphasis on careeradvancement within the Company
- Provide technical support to first level of Field Engineers by performingadvanced incident troubleshooting and tracking, escalated problem resolution,assist with root cause analysis, limited product research, fault isolationdevelopment, follow-up and documentation to include action reports todepartment team leaders
- Perform second level of maintenance and upgrades on network devices,computer and printer hardware and software, including the restoration ofconfigurations with assistance from Senior Field Engineers, IT OperationsCenter engineers or in combined resolution efforts with vendor supportengineers or technicians and authorize vendor remote access and confirmproper disconnect when support efforts are completed
- Responds to computer, network and data security vulnerability alerts at theproperty and regional levels for high-priority outage restoration efforts andreports to all Company properties within the assigned region
- Provide installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization ofbasic network and basic server hardware, software, and communication links within property data centers and communications closets or where Information
- Technology assets are housed in a training or production environment
- Analyze and resolve basic network and server hardware and software problemsin an efficient and accurate manner
- Follow all safety and security precautions
- Terminate and test network cabling systems using Company provided tools andtest equipment
- Perform basic network troubleshooting and analysis with assistance withSenior field Engineers and IT Operations Center engineers
- Provide setup and teardown services for local, regional and nationalperforming acts. This includes load in, load out, and set construction.
- Operation and troubleshooting of computerized lighting systems for stage andindustrial areas. Create and control lighting for local and regional acts.
- Configuration, programming, and maintenance of high-end sound equipmentincluding mixing boards, amplifiers, audio processors, wired and wireless micsystems. Providing both front and back of house support and operation ofthese systems during performances.
- Install and troubleshoot digital signage systems including both indoor andoutdoor displays, video walls, projectors, monument and pylon signs.
- Familiarity with VGA, DVI, HDMI, and Multicast preferred.
- Perform moves/adds/changes on traditional, digital, and IP based phone andvoicemail systems. Basic understanding of PRI, ISDN, POTS and IP basedcommunication technology required.
- Provide scheduled on-call support for emergency after-hours support issues
- Perform inventory of Company assets and documents stock levels fordepartment visibility
- Monitor and maintain computer and user accounts for necessary andappropriate access to various software and network applications in accordancewith Company policies
- Record, monitor, track, and document work performed using the Company’stracking system
- Provide Smart Device activation, programming and enrollment into Company’sMobile Device Management System and provide initial and advanced usertraining
- Provide support for Company’s Marketing Media Content Delivery Systems
Other duties, as requiredIn-collaboration with and under guidance of Corporate IT functional teams:
- Participate in disaster recovery testing
- Participate in functional and empirical analysis related to the design,development, planning, and configuration of computer and peripheralhardware
- Participate in rollouts of new computer and software upgrades
- Perform advanced desktop engineering functions, including computerimaging, setup and deployment in the field environment
- Provide user training and support using Company configurationmanagement tools and applications
- Assist in determining product compatibility, flexibility, and recommends replacement, upgrade or retirement of Company assetsduring assigned duties
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates of Applied Sciencedegree in a computer science discipline or comparable level of experiencepreferred.
Must have three (3) years of experience in an IT Support position, preferred,OR a combination of Network or Systems Engineering experience AND anycombination of the following:
- Three (3) years of applied experience with current Microsoft WindowsOperating Systems
- Three (3) years of experience working on enterprise desktop, andserver-related projects preferred.
- Must have basic computer and networking skills and fundamentals,experience in a resort hotel casino environment preferred
- Must have a high level of technical knowledge relative to the installation andconnectivity of computer and printer systems, including the configuration,maintenance and support of new and existing solutions.
- Must have strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Must be knowledgeable in basic and advanced computer and printer operationand related support and basic troubleshooting techniques
- Must be able to type quickly and accurately, preferably at least 50 wpm.
- Must have exceptional customer service, verbal and written communications,interpersonal and telephone etiquette skills; and adopts Company core values
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively multi-task.
- Must be proficient in various Microsoft Office Suite of applications

- Tone Test Set and other associated tools and test equipment
