The IT Facilities Project Manager oversees all communications, timelines, deliverables, project scopes, and key functions related to technology initiatives within facilities projects. This role provides centralized project management support for IT components of Capex projects, including infrastructure deployments, low-voltage systems, smart building technology, and IT buildouts for new or renovated facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience in project management relative to IT, preferably in dental or healthcare
• Experience coordinating and scheduling vendors
• Consultative experience to help drive decisions regarding IT hardware and/or software

JOB DUTIES

• Manage IT strategy and installations for dental practice builds and expansions
• Ensure the site is prepared for internet installs, phone installs, equipment installation, imaging equipment calibrations, and setup
• Perform site visits, including precon, box walk, and quality review visits as needed (travel)
• Ensure IT systems (phones, PCs, software) are functional prior to the practice's open date
• Consult owners and render IT quotes; collaborate with IT vendors as needed
• Communicate IT equipment installation dates with the vendor in collaboration with the assigned Facilities Project Manager
• Utilize project management tools to update assigned tasks and meet due dates
• Communicate with the Facilities team on project status as it relates to IT deliverables
• Develop and maintain IT vendor relationships and workflows
• Store IT-related documents in project resource folders
• Develop a low-voltage wiring plan
• Manage workflow and communications between the IT vendor and MB2
• Hold vendors accountable to SLAs
