A job at TSMC Arizona offers an opportunity to work at the most advanced semiconductor fab in the United States. TSMC Arizona’s first fab will operate its leading-edge semiconductor process technology (N4 process), starting production in the first half of 2025. The second fab will utilize its leading edge N3 and N2 process technology and be operational in 2028. A key role in the IT operations team, responsible for delivering a modern, efficient, and stable IT workplace for internal customers. This position requires collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external service providers to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a quick learner, and adept at adapting to rapidly changing conditions. Advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, along with a broad IT knowledge base, are essential for success. This role requires availability for on‑call work, including nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support project management, architecture design, implementation, and operations in one or more of the following areas:
• Fab-related system operation/troubleshooting
• Continuous knowledge base establishing
• AI‑driven system integration and fully utilizing the given platform
• Prompt engagement with fab users to meet business purposes
• Following standard procedures to conduct system changes
• Assist continuous improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.
• Conduct research and adopt new IT technologies to enhance productivity.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to address business needs and resolve technical issues.

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in one of the following areas:

• Computer Science
• Information Technology (IT)
• Software Engineering
• Computer Engineering
• Information Systems
• Artificial Intelligence
• Data Science
• Network Engineering
• Programming and Software Development
• Electrical and Computer Engineering
• Systems Analysis

Technical Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient in SQL at an intermediate or advanced level.
• Industry certifications such as Java/Python/JavaScript, LLM, or Machine Learning are preferred.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and problem‑solving across diverse IT systems and environments.

Interpersonal Skills

• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Adaptability in fast‑paced and dynamic environments.

Physical Requirements

• Must be willing to work on‑site at our Phoenix, Arizona facility.
• Need to be able to work night shifts (6 pm to 6 am).

Training
