Job summary

Horizontal Talent is seeking an Application Configuration Specialist to help build, test, and support enterprise configuration solutions. You will collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver well-documented configurations and enhancements across the full development lifecycle.

In this role, you will develop configuration components, test thoroughly, and create technical design and operational procedures while adhering to change control and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, implement, and document application configuration components
• Support project work independently and as part of a team through all phases of delivery
• Partner with end users, business analysts, and systems analysts to understand requirements and solution needs
• Create and maintain technical specifications, design documentation, and operational procedures
• Troubleshoot application issues and resolve testing failures as needed
• Follow established design, coding, naming, and documentation standards
• Participate in configuration and code reviews and apply corrections when needed
• Adhere to change control processes and support revision of technical documentation
• Advise team members on detailed specifications and implementation details
• Work with SAP-based modules and functional areas relevant to the project
• Develop and enhance applications based on provided specifications
• Test applications and support system documentation efforts
