Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Equipment Coordinator in the United States, Illinois, Markham, to manage IT inventory, coordinate ordering, delivery, and audits of assets for the IT department at the fulfillment center.

You will support technicians, report to the IT manager, and ensure accurate asset tracking while maintaining general housekeeping of IT areas. Strong troubleshooting and MS Office skills are required.

Fulfillment Centers throughout the U.S. handle millions of items from tens of thousands of vendors and ships them across the globe each day. The successful IT Equipment Coordinator will be responsible for utilizing his/her skills to provide assistance to the operations team by maintaining IT inventory, coordinating ordering, delivery, and audits of assets assigned to the IT department, and maintaining general standardized housekeeping of all IT areas. Key job responsibilities

• Allocate and maintain IT equipment throughout the Fulfillment Center.
• Responsible for the RMA and repair process for all devices under warranty.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Understanding of basic computer and network concepts, along with experience in inventory management and asset tracking.
• Proven experience in computer troubleshooting and repair, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• The physical demands of this role include the ability to stand and walk for 10-12 hours at a time, and the ability to bend and lift equipment throughout the shift.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing inventory in warehousing, retail or distribution setting
• Experience maintaining zebra thermal printers, troubleshooting thin clients, PCs, scanners, and portable handheld terminals
• Experience using strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience with end-to-end project management

The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, additional earnings may include shift differentials and overtime pay. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
