Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking 2026 IT Engineer Technical Interns for Jan and May 2027 starts in Riverton, UT. The internship offers hands-on experience with servers, storage, networks, and cloud migrations (AWS/Azure/Google), using tools like Meraki, ServiceNow, Splunk, and more.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled or within one year of graduation
Temple-worthiness requirement for Church position
Knowledge of networking (switches, routers, VLAN, firewalls) and IP/DNS/DHCP
Understanding of OSI models and system administration
Experience with cloud providers (Azure/AWS/Google) and data centers
Strong communication and writing skills
Familiarity with AI and automation encouraged

Responsibilities

Provisioning and deployment of network and server hardware worldwide
Assisting with migrations from on‑premise data centers to cloud providers
Monitor system activity for outages or overloads
Respond to incidents and fulfill IT requests
Replace/upgrade hardware in the data center
Manage/update the Configuration Management Database
Implement system monitoring/reporting via ServiceNow
Work with state-of-the-art tools to develop enterprise solutions
