Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) seeks an IT Engineer for a hybrid role with a major utility company in Columbus, OH or Merrillville, IN. This 6+ month contract-to-hire position focuses on end-to-end SAP functional oversight for M2C and Customer Service using S/4HANA Utilities and SAP Service Cloud.

The candidate will lead design, configuration, testing, and integration activities, coordinating with vendors while ensuring security, compliance, and DevSecOps practices across SAP projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP solution delivery experience in complex multi-vendor environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Service Cloud, SAP BTP and related products.
• Experience with SAP security models, GRC, and DevSecOps practices.

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a IT Engineer for a Hybrid position with a Major Utility Company located in Columbus, OH or Merrillville, IN. This is a 6+ month contract to hire opportunity.

This role involves providing techno-functional design, oversight, and test result reviews for SAP systems. The ideal candidate will focus on end-to-end SAP functional oversight for Meter-to-Cash (M2C) and Customer Service processes, including SAP S/4HANA Utilities and SAP Service Cloud, while identifying best practice opportunities and conducting fit-gap analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on end-to-end SAP functional oversight for Meter-to-Cash (M2C) and Customer Service processes
• Oversee the design, configuration, customization, and integration of SAP applications
• Oversee progress on SAP-specific RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) delivery
• Guide unit, SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing for SAP components
• Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure timely delivery and integration of SAP solutions
• Assist in deployment, cutover, and hyper care activities, including knowledge transfer and mentoring
• Ensure SAP security roles, access models, and compliance requirements are designed, implemented, and tested
• Drive adherence to SAP-standard DevSecOps practices
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across workstreams to ensure SAP solutions integrate effectively
• Establish industry-standard SAP monitoring for error handling, performance, and usage
• Participate in program governance, status reporting, risk management, and issue resolution

Requirements:

• Currently authorized to work in the United States via citizenship or
• Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP solution delivery, including design, configuration, development, and integration activities
• Proven experience with SAP implementations in complex, multi-vendor enterprise environments
• Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Service Cloud, SAP BTP, Fiori, and related SAP products
• Experience with one or more of the following specialized SAP areas: FICA, Billing, Regulatory, C4C
• Experience with integration technologies including RESTful APIs and middleware platforms
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Solid understanding of SAP security models, SAP GRC Access Control, and related compliance requirements
• Experience with SAP testing activities including unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate across team boundaries

Desired skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field

Pay range: up to $82.75 per hour
