Job summary

Selective Insurance Company of America is seeking motivated, self-directed individuals to join our Information Technology Early Career Development Program. This full-time, three-year rotational program is designed to develop adaptable technology professionals through three one-year rotations.

Participants gain hands-on experience across software engineering, data and analytics, cloud, cybersecurity, architecture, and emerging technologies, with mentorship and cross-functional collaboration,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field preferred.
Exposure to one or more programming languages, data platforms, cloud technologies, automation tools or related disciplines preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver business value by developing various technical solutions across programming, infrastructure, security or architecture.
Leverage technologies including AI, automation, cloud, data solutions, and software engineering practices to solve business challenges.
Drive continuous improvement, take ownership, and lead adoption of new technologies and processes.
Communicate across the organization to bridge gaps and build relationships.
Perform analysis by researching information, raising concerns, and presenting recommendations to a broad audience.
Research and evaluate alternative solutions for scalable, secure, maintainable system designs.
