Job summary

Cheil USA is seeking an IT Director to own the Business of IT, securing the network, optimizing the budget, and leading a team that keeps the agency running in Plano, Texas. The role blends stabilization, security hardening, and scalable process creation for growth, with a focus on local control and a Service-First culture.

The ideal candidate manages both on-prem and cloud infrastructure for a 200-person office, guides IT technicians, and implements automated solutions to improve productivity

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT Operations with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Deep technical expertise in macOS (Jamf/Kandji) and Windows (Intune/SCCM) at scale.
• Proven experience managing on-prem server rooms, complex networking (VLANs, Firewalls, VPNs), and storage solutions (NAS/SAN).
• Experience implementing security frameworks (SOC2 readiness, ISO 27001).
• Must be able to work in-office at the Plano,Texas location.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership & Strategy: IT P&L, vendor contracts, optimize spend.
• Oversee on-premise and cloud infrastructure for a 200-person office in a hybrid environment.
• Lead and develop IT Technicians for proactive support.
• Create automated solutions to reduce manual workloads for tooling and provisioning.
• Govern Security & AI policy; ensure compliance and access controls.
• Vendor & Asset Management: streamline purchasing for workstations and hardware.
• Act as primary contact for ISPs, software vendors, and IT contractors.
