Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (required)
• 10+ years of progressive IT experience across infrastructure, business systems, cybersecurity, and end-user services
• Experience in biotech/pharma/regulated environments preferred
• Experience with systems administration, networks, cloud platforms, IAM, and enterprise applications
• Strong cybersecurity, data protection, business continuity, and vendor risk management knowledge
• Proven cross-functional collaboration and clear communication with diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with validated systems and compliance-sensitive environments is highly desirable
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple initiatives while maintaining service quality
• Hands-on leadership style balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, and improvement of core IT services supporting a growing life sciences organization.
• Design and maintain secure, scalable IT environment across endpoints, IAM, collaboration, cloud, and core apps.
• Partner with science and business leaders to translate requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Oversee vendor relationships and managed technology partners for performance and cost discipline.
• Establish IT policies, governance, and regulatory compliance for data integrity and business continuity.
• Support system selection, validation, and change management for regulated workflows.
• Monitor health of the environment, troubleshoot issues, and drive root-cause analysis.
• Anticipate technology needs tied to growth and evolving scientific priorities.
